Delete your account

You can delete your PushMeUp account and the data connected to it at any time. Here is how, and exactly what happens.
How to request deletion
You can request deletion in either of these ways:
- In the app: if your version of PushMeUp includes it, open your Profile and choose the option to delete your account.
- By email: send a message to support@pushmeup.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". This is the surest way, and works during the beta.
We may ask you to confirm the request so that no one can delete your account without your permission.
What gets deleted
When your request is confirmed, we permanently delete:
- Your account and profile.
- The goals you posted and any progress updates.
- The pushes and cheers tied to your account.
- The personal information linked to your account, such as your name and email address.
What may be kept briefly
We may retain a limited amount of information for a short time where we are required to for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. It is kept only as long as necessary and then deleted.
How long it takes
We complete account and data deletion within 30 days of a confirmed request.
